
In order to deepen the development of the seed industry, integrate production, study and research, explore the collaborative innovation path of the silk road seed industry, and enable the revitalization of the regional seed industry and the development of agricultural modernization, from August 3 to 7, the 1. 2. of the third phase of the training class for young seed industry leaders in Peking university gathered in Joinhope to carry out the theme research and study exchange activities of "Tianshan on the development of silk road agriculture. This activity takes field visits, special seminars and industry participation as the core carrier, deeply excavates the resource endowment and industrial advantages of Xinjiang seed industry, and focuses on exploring new models and new paths for the coordinated development of cross-regional seed industry. The event brought together nearly 50 teachers from the Modern Agricultural College of Peking University, industry experts from the China Seed Association, and backbone representatives of the local seed industry in Xinjiang to build a high-end, professional, and effective seed industry-university-research docking cooperation platform.






Relying on the opportunity of this research, the students participated in the 11th 2026 China Xinjiang Seed Exhibition Fair held at the same time, focusing on the core achievements such as cutting-edge breeding technology, high-quality new crop varieties, intelligent seed production equipment, etc., and accurately studying and judging the current industry policy orientation and market development trend. During the activity, the trainees carried out face-to-face precise docking with upstream and downstream practitioners of the national seed industry, unblocked channels of industrial cooperation, resource linkage and technical exchange, deeply explored the regional opportunities for Xinjiang's improved varieties to export to the west and open up the international market for Central Asia, so as to realize the efficient linkage of front-line industrial research, cutting-edge technology learning and market resource docking.


The research class for young leading talents in the seed industry of Peking University is deeply engaged in the cultivation of high-end talents in the seed industry, bringing together three phases of leading talents in the industry. It is a high-end industry-university-research integration platform linking scientific research resources, industry experts and market players in universities. This Xinjiang theme research activity is not only a cross-regional and cross-field in-depth dialogue between seed industry and science, but also an important practice of accurately matching the cultivation of high-end talents in the seed industry with the needs of the core seed industry in northwest China.
The activity effectively opened up a two-way communication channel between scientific research talents in colleges and universities, cutting-edge technological achievements and the innovation and development of Xinjiang's local seed industry enterprises, and injected new kinetic energy into the deep integration of seed industry production and education, the joint research of core technologies, and the transformation of improved seed achievements. In the future, Joinhope will continue to deepen its strategic cooperation with its partners in the modern agricultural college of Peking university and the seed industry seminar of Peking university. based on the advantages of the core seed production area of Xinjiang silk road, it will regularly build a cooperation platform for research and exchange, collaborative breeding and resource sharing.
