The 2026 China-Central Asia Seed Industry Technology Innovation and Industrial Cooperation Symposium was held in Joinhope Park. Uzbekistan's agricultural authorities, Tashkent National Agricultural University, experts from Samarkand and Bukhara agricultural universities, industry representatives from Central Asian countries, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Autonomous Region Seed Industry Development Center, Autonomous Region Academy of Agricultural Sciences and other relevant departments and industry colleagues gathered at the scene, Government, enterprise, industry, university and research conducted in-depth dialogue on transnational joint breeding, cross-border promotion of improved varieties, exchange of agricultural technology standards, and joint training of talents. With the China-Uzbekistan Cooperation as a model, the Joinhope has simultaneously rolled out a coordinated layout in many Central Asian countries. Established a normalized cooperation mechanism in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries, introduced more than 3000 corn, wheat, and cotton germplasm resources, exported more than 150 experimental varieties to Central Asia, and approved 8 new corn and cotton varieties in Central Asia. In the interview, Abduaziz Abduvasikov, vice president of Uzbekistan National Agricultural University, spoke highly of the cooperation between the two sides: "China's high-quality cotton and corn varieties have greatly increased the output of domestic farmland, and the standardized planting technology brought by Chinese experts has solved the problems that have restricted our output for a long time, The joint scientific research base enables researchers of the two countries to continue to work together to tackle key problems and look forward to deepening long-term stable cooperation in the future."
