Recently, Joinhope Seed Industry Co., Ltd. and the Cotton Research Institute of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Academy of Agricultural Sciences (National Cotton Engineering Technology Research Center) conducted discussions and exchanges and signed a cooperation agreement.At the symposium, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the integration and innovation of science and technology enterprises. During the signing process, Fan Lingyan, President of Joinhope Seed Industry Co., Ltd., and Xu Haijiang, Deputy Director (Deputy Director) of Cotton Institute (National Cotton Center) of Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. Joinhope Seed Industry will join hands with Cotton Institute of Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences to open a new chapter in the integration and innovation cooperation of cotton breeding science and enterprises. In the next 10 years, 10 million yuan will be invested to jointly carry out technical research from germplasm resource innovation, breeding a number of new varieties of early maturing cotton suitable for the local environmental characteristics of Xinjiang. This cooperation will effectively combine the leading advantages of Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences in basic cotton research with the transformation and promotion ability of Joinhope seed industry, focusing on breaking through key traits such as mechanical harvesting, high yield, high quality and early maturity, while closely following the development trend of cotton industry and market promotion demand, striving to form a production technology system with improved varieties and methods, and continuously enhancing the regional influence of Xinjiang's self-bred cotton varieties.
