The Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the Autonomous Region organized relevant experts from Xinjiang Agricultural University, Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Shihezi University, Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Reclamation Sciences and other units to form an expert group. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs "National Grain High-yield Measurement and Acceptance Measures", the spring wheat high-yield creation base in Katartube Village, Mongolian Township, Zhaosu County, was tested for actual yield. The total area of spring wheat high-yield is 1080 mu. The 100-mu research field randomly received 3.56 mu, with a yield of 850.21kg per mu, and the 1,000-mu field received 232.8 mu, with a yield of 721.02kg per mu, setting a record for the highest yield of high-quality spring wheat in the country and a high yield of 1,000 mu of spring wheat in the country.
"Grain Spring 1758" has outstanding characteristics such as early tillering, high spike rate, high 1000-grain weight and excellent quality. It has excellent comprehensive agronomic traits. In different regions of 100-mu research field and 1000-mu demonstration field, the yield is balanced and stable, which fully confirms the high yield adaptability and yield stability of this variety under large-scale planting mode.
